Customer Testimonials
“Saddle Lockers tack trunks provide excellent security, space, and organisation for all of my tack and equipment. Stationary Saddle Lockers create a functional, attractive workspace inthe tack room, while Mobile Saddle Lockers are simple to pack, load and move wherever needed. Made of sturdy galvanized steel, these tack trunks are easy to clean and feature a three-point locking system that protects the items inside from theft or damage.”
“Our boarders love them. All their things can be kept at the barn in a private space, it’s very convenient to have everything so close.
From a farm owner’s and manager’s perspective, the lockers are great. Each boarder can be as messy or organized as their personality allows, but once the locker door is closed, the barn is clean and clutter-free.”
“The motivation to buy a locker came about when I bought a new custom saddle. This locker easily stores both my new and old dressage saddles. An unexpected bonus has been how organized I am now, with everything I use on a regular basis within reach. There are several storage boxes on top for items not used as often but still needed to be handy. One of the reasons I selected this locker is due to the ability to store boxes on top. Some of the lockers I considered had a lift-up top. While this had some advantages, it was not conducive to storage. As I share a tack room with a number of other riders, space is at a premium and I can build up but not out!
Another plus is that this locker helps keep my items clean. I live in the desert and sand gets into everything. Some sand does blow in thru the vents and I may tape over them. As it is dry here I don’t really need the vents for moisture relief, as others may require. I like the blue color; it never looks dirty. The locker is metal and it has worked out nicely for others to leave notes with a small refrigerator magnet.
The maintenance person at the barn put this together for me and I didn’t see the process so I don’t know if was simple or not.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with this locker. I would purchase it again and I have recommended it highly to others that have expressed an interest in protecting their riding equipment.”
“When your riding equipment and personal belongings need to stay organized and secure, I find SaddleLockers provides a storage system that is essential in any location.”
“My SaddleLocker keeps everything organized. The telescoping saddle rack option makes for easy access. All of my tack and supplies are neatly and securely in place In a ventilated locker. Highly recommend SaddleLockers!”
“I am very happy with my SaddleLocker. Very easy to put together!”
“Purchased my stationary SaddleLocker tack trunk a year ago today and I absolutely love it. It was a tiny bit trying to put together, as there were no real instructions at the time, but it was well worth the effort. I keep my locker in my horses stall. All I had to do to make sure it was safe was tape the corners. I did swap out the saddle rack it came with, as it is not ideal for an English saddle, and replaced it with the telescopic saddle rack, which I also love. My locker is very functional, easy to use. It holds a lot more than I thought it would. It is easy to keep clean. I get a lot of compliments. Oh and the other thing I want to mention is the service at SaddleLocker is exceptional. Every person I have interacted with has gone above and beyond to help me.”
“We could not be happier with our Saddle Locker. It’s exactly what we wanted. Initially, we hoped that we would be able to fit three saddle in it. However, after we purchased another horse we suddenly had four saddles that needed to be stored.
As you can see from the attached picture, we were able to make it work! We have two Icelandic horse saddles (similar to dressage), a hunt saddle, and a Western trail saddle. I never expected to get this much storage from one Saddle Locker but I’m that we did. We have 3 bridles hanging on the top of door. We use hooks inside the locker for girths and for the 4th bridle.
My husband also created a hanging shelf for the door using hooks from the backs of two additional bridle holders and an Elfa basket. We use this to store wipes for cleaning the bridles and the leather wipes.
I’m attaching pictures of our Saddle Locker and the door modification. It might sound silly to say that this makes our lives easier but it really does. We used to have to carry our Icelandic saddles back and forth from our house the the stable. The other two were stored in bags to keep them clean but it was always awkward getting them in and out. Now every time we use the locker we comment about how happy we are that we bought it!
GREAT PRODUCT!”
“What can I say about my awesome tack locker! I had two overflowing tack trunks! Digging through them was a nightmare due to diminished lighting in barn, plus lack of space and shelves. Ugh. Then I saw your display at Devon!! It was an ah-ha moment, plus you had a chandelier lighting this incredibly large, well organized tack locker!! Well not one to let a great deal pass, I am so happy I purchased my locker and the attached shelving!! The telescoping saddle rack is wonderful and my back thanks you!! No more bending over a tack trunk-yay!! As you can see both trunks contents fit into my tack locker and I still have room. The fold ability of the locker and ability to easily transport is a definite plus. Easy to put up its a win win for me!! You guys rock!! Best purchase ever!!”
“LOVE the tack locker! It’s the envy of the barn. There are lots of options for saddle rack and shelf placement. I was wondering if my big western saddle was going to fit, but it does! I have plenty of room and used the other rack for my blankets. Thanks for the superb customer service and quality product.”
“We absolutely love the lockers. We have four tall one with the extending saddle supports on one wall and three short ones opposite. We cut a hole in the top of one and put in an integral stainless steel counter and sink. We use under the sink for cleaning stuff and the other two for storing premixed supplements and the big containers of Platinum/Probios etc.
We have three teenagers using three lockers, and a spare the other two adults share.
My 16 year old daughter who events and also competes her Icelandic mare is always finding new ways to reorganize her locker and has mounted a whip holder and some buckets for storing boots plus some really strong magnet hooks and a small magnetic basket from her school locker. Shelves and bridle hooks come and go depending on the current organization.
We have big and small clear plastic stacking boxes on top of the lockers in which we keep spare bridles and parts, bits, boots etc.
In the aisle of the barn we have two more of the low lockers in which we store clean saddle pads and washing stuff.
Really couldn’t be happier!”
